There are lots of charateristics between Wart and Kay
Wart and Kay both want to succed in life. They both love Sir Ector and want to make him proud. There are numerous differences between the two young boys. Wart is unlike Kay in
his eager to please, and his openness to learning new things. Kay on the other hand is proud, cocky, and uncontrolable. In the beginning of the book Wart is a easily influenced, and apparently insignificant young boy. Kay to the annoyance of Wart never gets into trouble. Because Wart is not a true son of Ector, Kay looks down on Wart. Unlike Wart, Kay would never put himself below someone else(We know this because Kay refuses to help look for Cully the hawk when he flies off into the forest). Overall Kay is an overconfident young boy who is spoiled, and he cannot stand to be challenged. He knows Wart looks up to him and takes that for granted. Wart is a nice, shy young boy who loves to please his dad and step-dad.
